I may not follow my ritual perfectly, every single day, but I do follow it regularly, or adjust it as necessary when unforeseen circumstances arise. I LOVE how I feel when I take care of myself!
Eat Healthy
FOOD
- I plan my meals every week or two so I make sure to get everything I need primarily from the health food store.
- My absolute favorite meals are completely raw vegan. I try new ones or stick with my tried and true favorites.
- I eat lots of veggies, usually fried up together with different seasonings. Indian curry is my favorite.
SUPPLEMENTS
- Only real-food technology
- Glyconutrients
- Real food, complete vitamins and minerals
- Omega-3
- Anti-oxidants
WATER
- Goal is 1/2 gallon a day.
- I use a gallon of distilled water and mark it so I should finish one jug in two days.
- I get pretty close, but this is one I'm consciously improving on right now.
Exercise
- Early- to mid-morning I do my personal training workouts (by Renae at You-nique Wellness Solutions).
- Traditional Shao-Lin Kung Fu training in studio at least one evening a week and on Saturdays for 4 hours each.
- Additional Kung Fu training on my own at home a couple more times a week. Sometimes instead of or in addition to my personal training routines.
Read
- Mornings after I workout and shower, I like to relax outside or in a peaceful nook and read my religious scripture.
- At lunch time or in the evenings I might read something for personal development, business or just for fun.
Write
- I currently have two journals by my bed:
- One for anything I want. I usually look for inspiration or accomplishments during the day or trials I overcame or need to overcome and process those through writing.
- The other is my miracle or evidence journal where I record wonderful things that happen to me or others as reminders of the great good that is all around us if we just open our eyes and see.
Serve
- Right now I volunteer in my church, helping oversee the teenage girls' youth group. We have a great time together and do a variety of fun and service-based activities.
- I visit four women from church in their homes at least once a month and have enjoyed getting to know them and help them out when needs arise.
- I assist in my Kung Fu school, both in training students and in maintaining the school.
- I look for needs to fill such as giving someone a ride to an appointment or contributing food to an event.
